Dr. Frangiski Anthouli-Anagnostopoulou received her BSc in Medicine, her Specialty, and her PhD in Pathological Anatomy from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She was a Laboratory Associate of the Histopathology Laboratory of LITO Maternity Hospital and of the Biodiagnostic Laboratory, Athens, Greece, between the years 1986-1992. She worked as a volunteer researcher at the Histopathological Laboratory of the ANDREAS SYNGROS Hospital of Skin and Venereal Diseases, Athens, Greece, for a semester in 1987. She continued as a freelancer Laboratory Physician, Pathologist, during the years 1989-1995, and later, as an academic, at the level of Assistant Professor of Anatomy at the General Department of Basic Medical Courses of Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI-A) until 2001, and at the academic level of Associate Professor until 2005. She continued as Professor of Anatomy and Histopathology at the General Department of Basic Medical Courses from 2006 and afterwards, as Director of the Laboratory of Anatomy and Histopathology of the Department of the School of Health and Welfare Professions of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. Since September of acad. year 2013-14 she is Professor of Anatomy and Histopathology at the Department of Medical Laboratories in which in the acad. year 2013-14 she was Director of the Sector of Basic Medical Courses of the Department, while from the academic year 2014-15 until March of the academic year 2017-18 she was President of the Department of Medical Laboratories which since March of acad. Year 2017-18, is the Division of Medical Laboratories of the Department of Biomedical Sciences along with 4 other Divisions of the School of Health and Welfare Sciences at the University of West Attica. On July of the year 2018, she occupied an organic position of the same academic level, and she was the Director of the Medical Laboratories Division and Assoc. President of the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of West Attica. She was also Assoc. Dean of the School of Health and Welfare Professions in the acad. years 2015-2017 at TEI-A. She teaches and coordinates the module of Histopathology-Oncology in the self-powered postgraduate program “Biomedical Methods and Technology in Diagnosis” of the Division of Medical Laboratories of the nowadays Biomedical Sciences. Her research interests are focused on Histopathology, Oncology, Bone Tumors (PhD) and Skin Tumors (scientific responsible and coordinator of research program), Gynecological Oncology, HPV cervicitis). She has published several self-powered Greek and foreign language papers in the field of Histopathology and Oncology, as well as in conference proceedings. She is a member of the Scientific Committee and reviewer of the Greek international scientific journals, Review of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics (International Edition) & Epitheorese Klinikes Farmakologias kai Farmakokinetikes since 2003 until today, as well as a reviewer of the European Journal of Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Biology (EJOGRB), from 2010 until today, and a volunteer reviewer of the MDPI journals, International Journal of Environmental Research & Public Health (IJERPH), Children and Tropical Medicine in the scientific field of sexually transmitted diseases and HPV in the present year 2023.
